Pace University Wraps for Veterans Fueled by Walter’s Way

Backed by a sponsorship from Walter Scherr ’49, Wrap for a Cause will wrap one of the Pace University buses that travels between the Pleasantville and Manhattan (New York) campuses, creating a memorable mobile billboard campaign that:

  • Raises awareness and funds to support veteran education programs at Pace University
  • Provides financial support to the 82nd Airborne Division Association

About Pace University

Since 1906, Pace has educated thinking professionals by providing high-quality education for the professions on a firm base of liberal learning amid the advantages of the New York metropolitan area. A private university, Pace has campuses in Lower Manhattan and Westchester County, NY, enrolling 13,000 students in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in its Lubin School of Business, Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, College of Health Professions, School of Education, Elisabeth Haub School of Law, and Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. “The New York Times” and the “Chronicle of Higher Education” ranked Pace as the number one private, non-profit institution in the country for propelling student economic mobility based on data from the Equality of Opportunity Project’s Mobility Report Cards.

Pace is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a provider of online bachelor’s program for veterans. Pace is also ranked among the top 50 Best for Vets College by Military Times and was named a Military Friendly School for the seventh year by Victory Media.

Pace can provide financial assistance through our Veterans Scholarship which can cover half of tuition costs (in fall and spring semesters) for full and part-time undergraduate and graduate students.

Admitted veteran students are eligible to receive need-based financial aid from Pace as well as benefits offered by the GI Bill®. Veteran students may also be eligible to receive full coverage of tuition through our Yellow Ribbon Program.
